This is what I remember from my bike shop days.
Jose Diaz, ran a mail order buisness (Italia Velo Sport) from Florida in the early 80s, sold these. Any early 80s copy of Bicycling would likely have one of his ads. Most every Battaglin I ever saw came from there. Battaglin also used to come over and run a clinic in Florida sponsored by Jose Diaz. By the mid 80s Italia Velo Sport was selling clothing only.
Sure do miss those OEM below wholesale Campy gruppos.
