Thanks for the unexpectedly large number of responses on cold weather riding. Looks like the CRers are a hardy lot, with lots of you braving the elements year round. Several people mentioned Lake shoes and gloves, but I can't seem to get the dealer list on the Lake website to come up. Doubt that there is a dealer near me as there isn't much of anything near me. Do any of the LBS owners carry Lake, and if so can I buy this stuff from you by mail? The recommended retail prices for Lake gloves don't seem much higher than Pearl Izumi, etc., though the shoes aren't exactly cheap.
