Hi Dale and all,

What would be the best way to separate the nice 3 tube Reynolds frames and forks from the full 531 Guaranteed Double Butted frame and forks and stays used in the super Raleigh Gran Sports bike frames. Because of a small obsession and with the help of a few list members I now have seven Gransport's in various Lagoon Blue and White color combo's from the early 1970s era. Some framesets have rubbed 531 decals and I would not feel good offering a misrepresentation. Could the shape of the crown of fork blades or stays tell a story? I have seen them in lots of configurations.

Any help would be appreciated.

I hade a lagoon blue full 531 Gran Sport with forged dropouts that needed an adaptor claw. Would have made a nice fixed gear!!!
