Excuse the thoughtless plug:
Prepare now for the event of the millennium! June 1, 2001 Velo Club LaGrange and Red 5 Productions will host the third annual Brentwood Grand Prix, which will, among other things, give host to what we are planning to be one of the largest swap meets in the Western hemisphere!
It's going to be a bike-rich weekend with the Brentwood Circuit race and community ride on Saturday and the technical Brentwood GP crit on Sunday which winds it's way through the beautiful grassy knolls of Wadsworth Theater grounds - the perfect setting for a humungus swap meet. We're planning other events suited for the discriminating vintage cycling enthusiast as well, which will be highlighted at a later date.
So cancel that trip to the Giro D'Italia, get the video instead and bring the kiddies down to Sunny SoCal for some serious wheeling and dealing while you wife/husband/family shop in nearby Beverly Hills, hobnobbing with the likes of Sly Stallone!!! Don't forget to bring your trusted vintage racing machine, start shaving those calories now and take those wool jersey's out of mothballs for the community ride on Saturday!
