Sorry to take so long to get to the review, I write very slowly. I want to thank Chuck Brooks, Amanda and Leif from our group for being at the show. Vintage goodies at the show were rare, similar to the Trexlertown show, but the turnout for the event was excellent. About thirty five to fourty vendors attended, quite a few from shop and others cleaning out there garage. Never got an attendance figure, but atleast a thousand or more came to Mt. Wachusett. I arrived about 7:00AM hoping to catch others setting up and to steal an early peak at vintage goodies. For the first time this Millenia, I actually sold a lot more than I acquired. Crazy Dave Watson from New York set up next to me and our tables were a few of the tables at which to purchase Vintage stuff. Special thanks goes to my wife who patiently watched my table while I scurried about looking for "deals", then scrambling back to my table. Chuck Brooks purchased my 1972 Bertin Professional, but this was a done deal long before the swap. Hopefully Chuck will post Jpgs when he's done rebuilding the Bertin to his liking. Mike Kone made a suprize appearance coming in all the way from Colorado, it seems everywhere I see Mike these days he's always carrying a large sack of bike parts. About a few month back I purchased an Ephgraves from Mike and will try to post pictures of it when it is finished, the frameset is a work of art but had been restored and slightly altered. At best guess it's about "1962" vintage. I'm putting a NOS Super Record gruppo on it and will have a few suprises on it at Larz #5 this Summer. We left Wachusett about 3:00PM to do some leaf watching, had a great time talking with Chuck, Leif and Amanda throughout the day. Considering this show is only in it's second year it was a well attended show and all had a great time. We are looking forward to next years show, hopefully Velo will do it in the same location.
