Subject: [Classicrendezvous] Falsification of Messages

Ken, Dale, Richard and all:

I agree that those comments are totally inappropriate, but the thing is, I DID NOT WRITE THEM. Someone, for some sick, unfathonable reason has FALSIFIED A MESSAGE AND SIGNED MY NAME. Don't know how they managed to place my email address at the top of the message, but obviously the sicko possesses considerable technical expertise. Needless to say, I am even less amused by this than everyone else. This strikes me as the work of as loose cannon like one that was on the list about a year and a half ago under an assumed name. I won't name names, but many long time members know who I mean and some were targets of similar slander by this person. Dale and I recently received abusive messages from a similar person using an alias, could be the same person. I want to assure all the Japanese members that I have never even thought the racists comments contained in that message, much less emailed them to anyone. I am more outraged than anyone over this.

Regards

The real Jerry Moos
