I was sloppy with my words, not boring, not ubiquitous but actually just unimaginatitive in terms of a parts choice. On the other hand I have the parts, they are great and I haven't seen any Zeus 2000 or Superbe sets turning up at garage sales. Putting the Superbe group on a custom frame like that when I had it built was fairly unconventional. It also had (and still has) an OMAS titanium BB, Chris King headset (first year made) and Hi-E hubs. Actually a Superbe sub-group really and all sealed bearings circa 1979. I certainly liked merely cleaning as opposed to overhauling that bike. So against that background the SR group is conventional.
