If you order from Third Hand, don't delay too long. He is closing out stock, planning to close down in March. Sheldon also has extractors. Inner rings are no problem, since the circle is the same as mod 93, 104, 105, and (I think) 57 and 63. Don't own a 57 or 63 personally, but the photos on the PX-10 site seem to show the same basic spider as mod 93, with both rings 122mm. Outer rings for 49D may be tougher, as I don't know of any newer Stronglight model with the same very small outer circle. Easiest option may be to by a pair of TA Cyclotourist rings, which are still available new. You can't just buy a TA outer, though, as its holes for mounting the inner ring won't fit a Stronglight inner ring. Several other brands of ring pairs will fit the 49D cranks, including some Nervar, Zeus, and Lambert models, but TA is the most available and offers the widest choice of available rings. (The Zeus Competition, for example, has a 151mm inner ring circle, meaning the smallest ring is 44T - better have small hills or large thighs). Besides, as Hillary points out, a lot of 49D cranks were outfitted by the owners with TA rings, even in the 60's.

I agree that the Stronglight spider is really cool, and it didn't crack like Campy NR.
