The Campagnolo "Sport" hubs for sale on EBay were used on lower end cycles. They were available after 1958 (regardless what the seller says - he posted a set of this earlier this month with Bianchi engraving that went off at a whopping $365 a set. I know the buyer of those and informed him that they were not GS hubs as represented, nor were they early 50's. The buyer was (needless to say), upset.
I think I mentioned to you some time ago that FB stood for Fratelli Brivio. I have a pair of FB hubs with CC gear setup. Quite rare. I guess FB and Campy had some relationship, but weather or not Campy outsourced production to FB will take more than "The Giant..." to prove to me.
For now, I'll go with it.
