Hi everyone,
I am a new member to the list and I thought Iwould take the oppertunity to introduce myself.
I am a 53 year old male living near Preston in England and have been a cyclist for most of my life (interupted for a while by motorcycles). Until quite recently I was racing in time trials and the occasional road race, but an accident with a truck whilst out training finished that,but started my intrest in classics, mainly from the 1960s and 70s.
I currently own - 1954 Hetchins Experto Crede, 1956 Holdsworth Monsoon, 1962 Viking Severn Valley, 1963 Viking Severn Valley, 1960s Carlton Road/Path, 1971 Hetchins Italia, 1974 Eddy Merckx (Falcon) Super Competition, 1984 Raleigh Professional, 1989 Hetchins Magnum Opus. I also own another Raleigh Pro which is about to be moved on to make way for a Holdsworth Pro.
I have three modern cycles, these being, 1980s Paganini, 1997 Raleigh Ambrosia (genuine team frame), 1997 Colnago Suprissimo.
