Wow, and it is used, too. And Kauzo and the other familiar Japanese collectors don't appear to be involved in this one, though Greg Parker had a go before apparently deciding the price was a bit too rich. There was a Japanese buyer for the Mafac brakes, which would be expected as Takao has told us all how popular the old French stuff is in Japan. Maybe some of these Japanese collectors should join the list and research the stuff available from the classic bike vendors. They might save themselves a lot of money compared to what they sometimes pay on eBay.
