Hi:

Had a list member from Springfield, Missouri stop in my store. He was pheasant hunting with his Grandpa 120 miles away, and said, since he was in the neighborhood, thought he would drop in. Nice.

Also talked on the phone with Dale from Cycle's D' Oro. He planted the seed for me to consider to come to the swap meet int he spring in North Carolina.

About those Masi's. I always thought when I saw those cut out BB's that that could be a cause for failure. Anybody seen any failure? I, for one, would not be surprised.

My 1974 Paramount BB collapsed in 1992. Schwinn replaced the BB and seat tube under warranty. Try and get that to happen now. No way. The last couple times I have talked to Schwinn about replacing/ repairing frames that broke that were more than 10 years old they said that their usable life was over. They would not take responsibility for bikes made by the old owners.

Just talking.
