Ken, I was relying on the photos of the "79 team frameset" and "1979 Pro team" on the CR website. My frame appears identical to those shown in these photos. It was restored by Argos, however, so I can only assume, but not confirm, that the restoration was accurate. It may be that what Dale identifies as 1979 is in fact earlier - as Dale says, "Corrections gratefully accepted". BTW, congratulations on the fine article on the Holdsworth team in "Bikelore". If I am not mistaken, this is the same article of which you generously provided a draft to list members with the thought of publishing in On the Wheel, before that publication folded. Based on your comment, I think I shall use the GBs on the Falcon and Cinellis on the Holdsworth. This raises a couple of further questions. Would old logo Cinellis still have been used in 1978? What Cinelli model would the team have used, or did it vary with rider preference? I've received unconfirmed reports that this was a team frame actually used by Les West. Any idea what model Cinellis he would have used? Also, this frame is about 53cm ctoc. Would that rule out it having been West's? Hilary may have some thoughts on these points as well.
