Tom's question about the Inoxydable sticker on Peugeots is indeed listworthy! When David Goerndt and I were collecting information for the Peugeot Website (www.iag.net/~davidg/PX10.htm , and working as I type this!), we found Inoxydable stickers were routine on Peugeots. There were apparently a couple of different versions - the earlier ones had silver letters with blue backgrounds, the later (at least by 1973) had black backgrounds with gold edging and letters.

Whups - just went and looked at David's updates. Apparently, the "Serie Inox" gave the "X" to PLX-8 and other Peugeots. At any rate, Inoxydable decals were on Peugeots at least as early as 1955.

Be sure to drop David a line and thank him for his efforts. I got to contribute a few pictures and some text, but he has done the lion's share (bad pun, considering it's Peugeot) of the work on the site, as well as all the nuts and bolts of putting it together.
