All:
I'd have to echo Dale's sentiments and say that the Denver swap was awesome! Best one yet...
Thanks to all of the classicrendezvous-ers that steered customers my way. You helped make it a very successful show for me. I was a good boy and only bought a couple shoeboxes' worth of gems, but sold a bunch of vintage small parts and components.
The camaraderie was probably even better than the swap. After seeing so many of Mike Kone's bikes, I have decided it's time to more tightly focus my collecting habits. (Not sure what that will mean just yet, but I am mulling it over and am open to suggestions...).
Also, I'm now looking for the following: a first-generation Record crankset ('58-'61) and a 60cm c-t frameset to hang it on, or maybe a complete road bike of that vintage? Also, a 50cm c-t early Raleigh Team Pro 753 frameset for my wife (blue or red)....
Regards,
Greg "gotta get more focused" Parker
