Subject: [Classicrendezvous] Old Bikes with Motors

Saw three bikes in front of an antique store today. Mopeds, really, each had a Solex two stroke mounted over the front wheel. The frames were burly enough and the motor mounts integrated enough that one could see they were designed as motorized. They looked like 50's or early 60's. I noticed one had a Simplex steering lock, didn't check the others. They were all black, and the only ID I could find was a "2200" plate on the seat tube of one, a "1700" on another and a blank spot in the same place on the third. No idea what the asking price was, but these things looked cool. Anybody know what I saw, or should I just go away with my definitely-not-lightweight question?
