Subject: [Classicrendezvous] Problem with EuroAsia Imports....

Hi Jon & gang:

I would like to get this straight in my mind..

Are you, Jon, a dealer and bought this Campag bbkt. directly from EuroAsia or did a dealer obtain this for you? When exactly was this? Who did you talk to and what was EuroAsia's' response to your complaint? I.e., did they say it was a goof? Or that it was it an intentional substitution on their part to allow you to have a workable bbkt.? Were they apologetic or puzzled? They offered a return & refund, or not?

cycles de ORO has dealt with EuroAsia as a dealer on & off again for a long time and have frequently found them to be attitudinally haughty and impatient in taking orders (not unexpected from CA or NY suppliers!! Sorry folks!), but I have never had a problem with their veracity or ethics... They HAVE gone to some lengths to manufacture or source odd bits that serve the vintage community (example: repro Campag hood covers, 144 pattern chain rings..) so I am hoping that this was a one-time mess-up.
