I understand, although you don't have to be a racer to be amused by the Algerian rider collapsing from the heat while leading the TdF stage, being handed a bottle of wine by spectators, and being found passed out drunk by officials. Or the superhuman feats and bizzare incidents of the early Paris-Brest-Paris. These are great stories, even if you never raced in your life. Still, if you've finished one book, may as well make room for the next.
