Subject: [CR]Looking For Paint Inspiration

I'm looking for inspiration. My custom Bilenky, fillet-brazed and filed to a mirror finish, is about to be treated to a paint job by our own Brian Bayliss, but I have no clue about color. I'd love to see photos of painted fillet-brazed bikes to inspire me. Unfortunately, most of what I've seen on the web is either very loud, very ugly, or very difficult to make out in an online photo. The bike is a century/sport-tourer/club riding kind of bike, made of steel (Columbus Nemo for the most part, although with a carbon fork - it's my weight-weenie bike <shy smile>), longish chainstays, good old-fashioned Campy 1010 horizontal dropouts. It's also completely logo- and sticker-less, at my request. Even the Chris King headset was special ordered in its no-logo version.

I'm a lover of classic bikes and tend to like blues, greens, anything in between (aqua, celeste, even), and reds, as well as black and white - no yellows, browns, or purples or oranges for me.

Brian says he's very able to take the germ of an idea and run with it (a fact about which I have no doubt), but I confess I don't have even a beginning.
