Yes, Dale, we do have to pay attention in this type of auction. My bid in C-R list was 375.00 but you outbid me upto 650.00, wah.

But if the "KAUZO" from Japan really wants it, I bet he will go over 800.00 or more.

I wonder who ever buys this piece, is he going to display in living room to show it off? Or, thrown into parts box for further investiment? Or, put it on the bike and enjoy riding time to time.

What I really wonder is; are we collectors or riders????? Like the issue about to ride or not on the 25 year old nice collectable bike a few weeks ago, I say 50/50 split.

I will not enjoy such expensive part (worrying about damage or loss) to ride on while some may enjoy showing off super unusual 10,000.00 bike on the rack!

Being very uncommon piece of part will make it very collectable and expensive, but let us not push ourselves into minds of coin collector as they just enjoy WATCHING!

Vintage bike collector shall be able to enjoy the sensation of how the machine rides even 1/2 mile ride with 15 m.p.h., I think.

How many of us vote for RIDE? Then how many for COLLECTION? As I say I think I would like to be exact 50/50.

KEN TODA, I still remember how I could climb hills, and felt draft behind competitor!
