Kudos to Richard Sachs! I met him today at the Cyclocross Super Cup race in Overland Park, KS, freezing in the cold and snow like the rest of us. What a great guy! He had his 'cross team there and was working in the pits, exchanging bikes, cleaning them, and doing repair. It is very cool that a sponsor would get this involved with his team and I told him that. And his bikes were beautiful in that timeless, understated way. Makes me want one of his frames even more than I did before.
There were lots of steel frames there today with probably as many aluminum, several titanium, and 1 or 2 carbon fiber.
