As I recall the gold labeled 2002 was more heavily padded than it's silver-labeled 2001 companion, or? I have a 2002, great seat, but no titanium--it weighs a lot! Mark

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I think the difference between the 2001 and 2002 models was titanium rails.
