I cannot let that choice of phrase go by without comment.

I hate to be this explicit, but I think it might be a needed clarification at this time.

This is not a public forum. All those members participating under that illusion should take heed. It is a private list, by invitation and under constraint of certain literal and aesthetic guidelines that the List Owner (only) determines. In effect, you are all sitting in my den, in my home, talking about cool old bicycles and their culture. If guests misbehave in my home and disrupt the harmony of the gathering , I will quickly ask them to leave.

Does anyone not understand?
