I didn't know that this was their "colors". I have some pink shirts and two of my favorite roses are pink, but it would not be the color of choice for my bike.

John, pink was the signature color of Mercier, just like black & white for Peugeot or blood red for LeJeune. The Mercier tem bikes ridden by the great Raymond Poulidor in the Tour de France were that color. Pink obviously isn't considered an exclusively feminine color in Europe as it traditionally has been in America. Check out the bikes and jerseys of Jan Ulrich's Telecom team, the Mercatone Uno team's TdF jerseys, or the "maglia rosa" of the leader of the Giro d'Italia. Still, that bike would get you some strange looks here in rural western PA, and the pink color is probably one reason Mercier were not successful in the US. Regards,
