Okay, I went and looked. That bike appears to me to be a PXN-10E from circa 1979-1983 or thereabouts. The checkerboard-fade decal scheme was in use during those years. Unless, of course, it is a PY-10 variant ...
Whups. After looking at the fork crown, I think it IS a PY variant. Way cool.
For what it's worth, I've seen EARLY 70s PX-10s with both Nervex
Professional and Nervex Dubois (sp?) lugs. There should be a picture
somewhere on David's site at http://www.iag.net/
For that matter, I think the PX-10LE series bikes always had the plainer lugs, too. But I don't think those notes apply to this bike. I'm pretty sure this is a '79-83, and probably towards the early end of that scale.
On the bright side, if you get it - the serial number will probably be stamped directly into the underside of the BB shell. The first numeral is the last numeral of the year produced. Bet it's either a 9 or a 0 ...
