John, you're breaking our hearts here in rural PA :-) Don't know about Walt in Dubois, but I commuted to work today here in Warren, PA (wearing some of Walt's socks). It was (I later learned) 7deg F when I left the house (the radio said 13 deg, but that was "in town"). Had to stop at a convenience store half way thru my 10 mile commute and buy some hot coffee to ward off frostbite and hypothermia. Think I've found the limits of my cold weather commuting. We are envious of you CA guys riding in 60 deg weather in the middle of winter.

Regards,

Jerry "frozen in Western PA" Moos
