well I guess this question is drawing alot of comments but I'll throw in my 2
cents:
I had the same conversation with Richie Sachs while pondering his Masi GC,
and my point was: the frame, the soul of the bicycle, is kinetic art. The
total value lies in the physical execution (what you look at) and the ride
(what you feel). Only by riding a bike do you appreciate both.
Of course, I'd only ride it only under pristine conditions, and hopefully in
good company.
Imagine having this bottle of fine wine: do you drink it? or just let it sit
in the cellar?
