Having seen lots of Crescents--I live in the region where most of them were sold--I can say that the fork is original. A friend of mine bought one last year to turn into a rain bike and had me build him a new fork, as the old one had a dropout cracking out with the little tippy-tab of the Campy dropout the only part brazed inside of the blade.
