IF you remove the spring assembly, I think that you can see the true diameter of the pin as it serves as hinge pin. That LOOKS like the pin is not peened over very much. That SUGGESTS that you could use a pin punch to drive it out. My own preference would be to start by drilling a little bit of a recess into the "head" to help it give gracefully and back out of the hinge. I would not do this unless I were desperate, though.
