I've never seen a butted Columbus seat tube that wasn't 27.2 I.D. Could it have been a "metric" version a la 531? Anyone know the details? Brian? eRichie? Dale?

My wife's old Atala, long since sold, definitely had a Columbus down tube
(dove logo). It was marked all Columbus, I believe. It used a 26.8 seatpost.
