Sounds nice.
Your message caught my eye because you list the bike as 1910, and it has "metal&wood" rims.
Is there a Columbia expert out there?
I too have an early 20th century Columbia called a "Junior Roadster", which also has metal clad wood rims, and appears to be nearly complete and original. Up until recently I had been under the impression that the metal clad wooden rims were used from the late '20's into the '30's. However my Columbia Junior Roadster has a decal on the seat tube which has several patent dates, the last being a 1915 date. I don't think this means the bike is a '15 or even a '16, because these decals could have been used for a number of consecutive years. My bike has the serial number G6579 stamped into the BB shell bottom. Can anyone help with identifacion of these earlier, not so lightweight bikes?
I also own an 1888 Columbia Light Roadster, 53" front wheel & 19" rear wheel, for those who are interrested (not for sale).
