did campy make 28 hole NR/SR hubs? i'm too young to remember.

i've got a pair of NOS super champion rims waiting for a hubset....wondering how hard they will be to find.

btw, anybody know anything about super champion medalle d'or rims (sp?)?

Doland

The MdO rims were among the lightest tubies ever offered. I recall 260g . The Record DuMonde's were 310 and the Arc en Ciel were 330 (360 maybe?) SAchwinn Approved use there, and many will remember that Schwinn reamed and chamfered the holes on their Camp hubs, which broke many spokes by choppiung the bend. So then Schwinn took their un built hubs and driled auxiliary holes, making them 72 holes, but leaving the new ones cylindrical.

Mavic had a parallel line of rims 260 for the OR7in gold, (Argent 7 in silver) 310 for the Record duMonde de'le'heure(or OR 10 if it were gold) and 360 or so for the Monthlery, than the Route was 400 plus

Not to forget Fiamme Ergal or earlier Yellows were 290 (maybe 310?) and the reds around 330

Dunno much about the Nisis, Martanos , or Ambrosios, but it's probably in an old catalog.

Hmmm what was the question?

Oh, there are Campy 28, yes, Piccolo and Grande flangi Maybe even HiLo? donno

Class dismissed,
store open
