I just bought a 70's vintage LeJeune tandem on eBay, and am wondering what the safest and most economical way to ship it across country, from CA to PA, is. Someone has suggested Amtrak - anyone have experience shipping bikes on Amtrak? Any other wisdom to share about shipping tandems?
