I wonder if that sloppiness was by Hetchins or afterwards?

Unfortunately the shop craftsmen also fell asleep when it got to the rear bottom bracket shell "sockets".. They left them rather unattractively straight cut.

I think (please correct me) that this is a Vade Mecum model of the basic level (I? III?). Stamped lugs and likely one of the less expensive models at the time (mid 1960s?) Still, if it is not too high in final selling price, it could be restored to make a nice bike.. I love those double concave seat stay "top eyes". Dale Brown
