Subject: [CR]Geezerhood and bikes

As I mentioned in my introduction, I'm 72 and like the T-shirt I saw, "If you ain't where you are, you ain't nowhere" I have the same wife that I've had for 45 years and three successful kids long since gone from home. No pets of any sort and just recenly reduced the number of gas burners from four to one sensible car and a restored 1946 Chevy Convertable that I don't drive enough to keep the battery up. I have three bikes; an REI Novara Randonee touring bike, a CARiBIKE Folder set up with racks for touring and the 1938 Winchester bike (yes, the gun that won the west) that my dad bought for my 10th birthday. At one time I realized that I had nine bikes. Since I'm into simplifying my life I started selling them off so some of these days our kids won't have to stand in the garage and say, "What the hell was dad doing with nine bikes?"
