Buzzzzzzz. Sorry, wrong answer. Running a LBS is not a way to get rich. It does however help keep the overall costs of the bike addiction low(er). Unfortunatly the cost of vintage stuff is just as high for me as it is for the rest of you. I did get a couple of sweet used rides in the last 3 years. The first was a mid 80's Trek 520 with all of the original parts in like new condition(Huret rear, Sugino cranks, SunTour barcons) Price: Free The second was a 531 Austro-Daimler Superliecht frame(thanks Ford), It got built with a mix of SR/NR parts. Frame price: Free I do however like my non-vintage rides alot too: Stevenson Custom w/ Record 9sp LeMond Zurich w/ Campy mix My favorite rides are my mid eighties Tommaso SLX(SR) and early 90's LeMond TSX(C-Record)

Of course I do get paid to talk with people about bikes...I guess I do okay.....
