Recently joined the list, and in the spirit of all the other recent submissions, thought I should introduce myself.
49 years old; been riding bikes off and on since the mid '60s--grew up in Palo Alto so I always had access to good bikes as a kid. Trying to keep things simple in recent years, however, so I only have a couple of complete bikes:
Tesch S-22 road bike (Any info about David would be appreciated--I've already seen the stuff on CR; lost track of him several years ago)
'93 B'stone XO-2 (perhaps not a "classic", but a very fun bike)
several other frames/projects awaiting help/work
13 banjos (I think), but that's another story...
Now for a question: a friend has recently turned up a Cinelli "Ottomilla" mountain bike. Not being a mtn biker, I had no idea Cinelli was ever involved in such a project; some suggestion that it was a joint venture with Fisher, but he contacted Fisher and was not given a definitive answer. Anybody out there have any idea about these things? Worth anything beyond curiosity?
