Brad: You've touched on one of my bike industry pet peves. I have been thinking for some time now, that someone should get permission from all of the various brake manufacturers, to reproduce those brake lever hoods that we all find ourselves needing replacements for all of the time. I would personally like a few sets of Galli Ti brake lever hoods, about 1/2 dozen Universal cp brake lever hoods (with the little black cable adjuster hoods), a few pairs of Shimano Dura Ace ('84) hoods, even a pair of Universal CX hoods, not to mention the requisite 1/2 dozen or more Campagnolo (pre-aero and shield) hoods. I think making them out of some newer, longer-lasting material would be OK too, as long as the color is close to what the originals were. Has anyone out there looked into this?
