your masi would've had dubois lugs, produced with integral 'rings'. (unlike bocama lugs on which rings are welded on). the cinelli has lugs which were not produced with rings. most lugs aren't/weren't. dubois/nervex lugs had the rings as a design element as well as a function provider. your pics are not close enough to see the shapes, but if you truly have an early 70's calimasi, it'd have the dubois lugs, and i have never seen any dubois-ed lug masi without the rings. except for a couple made by those rascal new guys on their own time! any better close-ups of the head tube, fron the side? e-RICHIE
