I also have a Cinelli work stand, which I purchased new about 12/14 years ago and am still using today. I sold my Park consumer stand to get the Cinelli, and found the Cinelli to be much better. The screw clamp for the jaws makes you adjust the clamp tension each time, which I think is an nice feature and allows you to softly clamp new thin-wall and non-steel frames for inspection or display. For real work on such frames, I still clamp the seat post or use Park's seat tube holder device (also very handy and nice). The legs, which are removable, have adjustable feet for leveling. The top section (with the clamp) inserts into the main post, which make is easy to fabricate an insert to increase the height of the stand. The real problem I see now is getting parts, so anyone who wants to get rid of their old Cinelli stands, I'm interested!!

Hi all-

I have a repair stand I got about 15 or so years ago that has the Cinelli logo stamped on the clamp arm.?

It has a single threaded bolt through the orange jaw and a twisting handle that closes it.

What is the deal with this? Fraud? I have completely abused over time and am planning on replacing it.
