Hate to tell you this but it's most likely a result of a hard lick on the front wheel, pushing the bottom of the headtube back and bending the downtube. When you bend a tube, it stretches very little on the tension side with most of the failure showing up as a buckle on the compression side. Look closely and you might find one on the same location on the bottom of the top tube. Other places to look for these signs is the back of the fork blades just below the crown and on the back of the steerer just above the lower head bearing. The failure point in a tube is usualy about one tube diameter from the strongest point. IE: the weld or lug. Jim
