Yah, but those guys have people to wash their bikes & cloths after the event....
Just to make those California types jealous, here are a couple of photos of an event that we organize up here in Toronto - 140km on an equal mixture of paved roads, gravel roads, and bloody track. This year it took place on the last weekend in November. It boggles the mind that we could attract 55 hardy (foolish) entrants. Completion time varied between 5 hours and change to over 7 hours for the last person in and afterwards we had to wash our own bikes!
