Subject: [CR]classic Mexican bikes

With this talk about Windsors it made me remember a very nice classic Mexican made bike called Canopus (I think that's the spelling). I saw them in a shop in Los Cruces, NM in @92. Lugs and paint were basic but very nice, the miters were quite clean, and the whole bike had a smooth look. Does anyone have any information about these frames? And what was the realationship between Benotto and Windsor? Many people slag on Mexican and latin american products but all the bicycles I've seen from "south of the border" have been at least on par with the Italians.

thanks, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives
