My '78 Motobecane catalog (reprint) lists Grand Record tubing as Vitus DB 172 (3 tubes) w/Huret tips; Le Champion = Reynolds (no type referenced)) DB (9 tubes) w/Huret tips; Team Champion = Columbus (9 tubes) DB w/Huret tips.
All the above frames were listed as having Bocama lugs, with GR Bocama Professional and the LC & TC w/Bocama Competition.
Both the GR & LC were listed with 27" Rigida rims!!
Colors were: GR = Silver; LC = Silver Lilac; TC = Brilliant Blue
Things may have been changing daily for all I know - wish I had kept better historical records!!
