I believe the Splendor team had different bikes under the same team skin, hence the headbadge variations. As you know, the practice of top racers selecting their own custom builders (ala the Masi's of Merckx, Bitossi and others, LeMonds early Della Santas, Sabliere's and Helyett'sof Anquetil, etc.).
