I've done about all I can do to the Used Bike Buyers Guide update short of completing the laborious update of the 98-01 frame offerings--a group of frames that probably is of little interest to this group anyway. Although I normally sell the guide for $10, for the Classicrendezvous List, I'm offering it at a 50% discount. If you want a copy of the guide on disk for PC, send $5 to: Louis Deeter, 13009 Percivale Drive, Huntsville AL 35803. If you need a format other than the Microsoft Word format that is the default format for Windows 98, let me know in your note. The $5 includes shipping, even to our overseas members. I'll welcome any comments, additions, or corrections from the folks who get a copy. Reminder to folks who have not been following the update notes over the past year--this guide doesn't have values listed. It focuses on tips for buying road frames & lists all the framebuilders and their models I have been able to identify with emphasis on the builders of t! he 70s to present. I'll be the first to admit that it isn't perfect, but it may help some of you. Thanks. Lou Deeter, "basking in 70 degree weather in Huntsville AL as we await our first severe storm of the season".

Hi all,

At the risk of opening up another round of M'becane discussions (and I'm really sorry I haven't been paying more attention over the last week--mea culpa), can someone out there provide a description of the difference between a "Jubilee" and a "Grand Jubilee"? Is the latter a more recent iteration or what--I'm totally confused. Thanks

Richard Jones-Bamman
