Duane, I don't know how much help I can be, but let me take a stab at it. I heard, again--only heard---that Medici was an America import company that had their frames and accessories made by some outfit in Italy. Maybe those incorrigible bike-making prisoners for all I know. They all had "modern" geometry, none of the mushy two meter long wheelbase contraptions of old. Prison welders aside, the Medici that I have seen are all very good bikes, and wouldn't be ashamed to own/ride one. Cheers, Dave Anderson
