Big picture today - Moreno Argentin riding for "Sammontana-Benotto" in 1981:

Beautiful wool jersey with embroidered Cinelli, Pubbliconf, and Columbus patches sewn-on. Yellow diamond-shaped "Gelati Sammontana" patches are sewn onto blue sleeves. Assos shorts. Looks like G.Bianchi shoes.

The bike has Super Record, with Cinelli 1R stem (for Chuck Schmidt). No extra pantographing, but the shift levers are drilled. Tape is textured Benotto. Note the brake cables are set-up "Italian-style" (right/front, left/rear). Fully-chromed fork, but no chrome on stays. BB shell is slotted. He's using 3 spacers on the Super Record headset. There's blue tape wrapped around the toestrap below the buckle, where it rubs against the pedal cage... helps keep the toestrap upright, makes it easier to get your shoe in.

Sammontana has a website which briefly mentions their connection to bike racing. Unfortunatly it's undergoing rennovation at the moment:
