A theory.

Frame hung in a shop for awhile before the one owner purchased it ... he knows how long he's had it, but not how long it was there before he bought it.

Of course, the shop owner was technically an owner of it, as was the distributor, as was the manufacturer ... so the seller is really the 4th owner of the bike.

Hey folks, just one question... How can a bike be one owner yet the age of the bike is unknown?
