He's an original founder of Turin Bicycle CO-OP in Chicago (now reduced to Turin Co-Op- Evanston), run by a few former friends & current competitors for the Evanston IL => Northwestern University bike biz.
For Racers- He's the original sponsor & support (tech, custom bikes, etal.) of Lon Handermann of Race Across America fame. He built some of the finest frames in the early '70's to date that I've ever seen, and is IMHO one of the finest bike persons I'll ever be pleased to know...
